Write + absorb

Acoustic whiteboards

Whiteboards are usually the hardest surface in the room. Ours carry a PET acoustic core behind the writing face, so the wall you write on is also the wall that absorbs.

Overview

Magnetic glass or acrylic writing surfaces bonded to a PET core — presentation and reverberation control in one plane.

The board is built as a sandwich: a toughened glass or acrylic writing face, a 9 or 12 mm PET acoustic core, and a balancing PET back. The PET core absorbs mid and high frequencies; the glass gives a surface that writes clean and erases without ghosting.

Wall-mounted boards are fixed with a concealed aluminium cleat. Mobile versions run on lockable castors and double as room dividers. Desk-mounted boards clamp to the worktop for hot-desking and training rooms.

  • Magnetic writing face. Toughened glass or acrylic, magnetic for notes and printed diagrams.
  • Acoustic core. 12 mm PET behind the face absorbs speech reflections that a conventional board would return.
  • Concealed fixing. Aluminium cleat positions the board 20–30 mm off the wall, keeping the acoustic face clear.
  • Mobile option. Castor-mounted boards divide space and provide a writing surface where no wall exists.
  • Sizes for the room. From a 600 × 340 mm desk board to 1900 × 1000 mm wall-hung panels.
  • Face and core separate. The writing face is a replaceable layer; the PET core stays on the wall.

Questions

Asked before specifying.

Glass or acrylic?
Glass is harder wearing and magnetic; acrylic is lighter and lower cost. Both are available with the same PET core.
Can the board be used outdoors or in humid rooms?
No. Glass boards are for interior use; for humid areas we recommend PET panels without a glass face.
Is the surface replaceable?
Yes. The face and core are separate components; damaged faces can be replaced without removing the fixing.
