Flexible zoning

Freestanding screens & workstations

Rooms change faster than buildings do. Freestanding screens let a facilities team create a meeting corner, a focus zone or a privacy pocket in an afternoon — and take it apart again next quarter.

Freestanding screens & workstations

Overview

Mobile partitions and enclosed workstations that carve quiet zones out of halls, studios and open floors.

Our freestanding range uses a 14 + 14 mm PET sandwich: two needled boards around a rigid core, edged in aluminium or stitched PET. The result is a 30 mm panel that stands straight at 1800 mm without a visible frame, absorbs sound on both faces and can be wiped down.

Screens are available plain, fabric-wrapped, printed or with a glazed upper section. Linking brackets join panels at 90° or in a straight run; stabilising feet and lockable castors are supplied as required. The same construction scales up into workstations — two to four desks enclosed on three sides, with cable management and optional shelving.

  • Move it, don't build it. Lockable castors and a 30 mm panel mean one person can reconfigure a floor plate without contractors.
  • Acoustic on both sides. Double-sided PET absorbs speech from both neighbouring zones, unlike single-skin partitions that simply block sight.
  • Stable at full height. The sandwich core resists bowing at 1800 mm, so screens read as furniture rather than temporary screens.
  • Workstation scale. Link panels into three-sided workstations with desk, cable tray and optional overhead shelf.
  • Floor-to-ceiling option. A 1620 × 600 mm screen with zipper, magic-wand or acrylic head closes the gap to the ceiling.
  • Linked at 90° or in a run. Connectors join panels into corners and long runs without a visible frame.

Details

What makes it work.

01

Move it, don't build it

Lockable castors and a 30 mm panel mean one person can reconfigure a floor plate without contractors.

02

Acoustic on both sides

Double-sided PET absorbs speech from both neighbouring zones, unlike single-skin partitions that simply block sight.

03

Stable at full height

The sandwich core resists bowing at 1800 mm, so screens read as furniture rather than temporary screens.

04

Workstation scale

Link panels into three-sided workstations with desk, cable tray and optional overhead shelf.

05

Floor-to-ceiling option

A 1620 × 600 mm screen with zipper, magic-wand or acrylic head closes the gap to the ceiling.

06

Linked at 90° or in a run

Connectors join panels into corners and long runs without a visible frame.

Questions

Asked before specifying.

Are the screens stable enough for public areas?
Yes, with stabilising feet or weighted bases. For high-traffic areas we recommend the 1800 mm panel with feet rather than castors.
Can panels be linked at an angle?
90° and 180° brackets are standard. Other angles are made to order.
Do they meet fire requirements for escape routes?
The PET board is classified EN 13501-1 Class B. Whether a screen is permitted in a corridor depends on the project's fire strategy; we supply the classification report for your assessor.
